Whistleblowing

Whistleblowing at Gobarto

At Gobarto, we believe that doing business comes with responsibility. We take full accountability for our actions and their impact on the wider community. Open dialogue with our stakeholders is essential, which is why we encourage you to report any violations, irregularities, or suspected breaches of the law, ethical standards, or our internal procedures. Every report will be carefully reviewed, and if confirmed, it may contribute to positive change within our organization.

What can be reported?

Any breach of the law, internal regulations, or ethical standards committed – or likely to be committed – by any of our employees or associates. We also encourage you to report any violations or threats to human rights related to the actions or inactions of Gobarto, our suppliers, or contractors.

To help us assess and act on your report, please provide as much detail as possible, including:

  • the Gobarto Group entity involved,
  • the individual(s) responsible for the violation,
  • the date and location of the incident,
  • a description of the situation,
  • any witnesses or documents that may serve as evidence,
  • your contact details, unless you choose to report anonymously.

You may also attach supporting materials, such as scanned documents, photos, or videos.

Who can report a violation?

Każdy! Zapraszamy do składania zgłoszeń wszystkie osoby, które mają wiedzę w zakresie opisanych powyżej naruszeń lub zagrożeń.

However, under the law and our internal procedures, special protection is granted to whistleblowers who are our employees, contractors, associates, temporary staff, interns, trainees, and volunteers, as well as self-employed persons, shareholders, partners, members of the management board or supervisory board, and authorized representatives. This protection also extends to individuals working under the supervision and direction of our contractors, subcontractors, or suppliers, including those employed under civil-law contracts.

How to report a violation?

We have created a dedicated whistleblowing platform to ensure full anonymity – unless you choose otherwise. To access the platform, click the following link: https://sygnaapp.pl/system-zgloszen-wewnetrznych/gobarto/ or scan the QR code:

In addition to the platform, you can also report violations through the following channels:

  • By mail: Send a letter to Gobarto SA at Wspólna 70, 00-687 Warsaw, Poland, with the note “Whistleblower” on the envelope;
  • By email: Email us at naruszenie.zarzad@gobarto.pl or naruszenie.rada@gobarto.pl;
  • In person: Report in person at the Gobarto Legal Department;
  • By phone or video call: Contact us at +48 22 31 99 305.

Who will have access to your report?

All whistleblower data remains strictly confidential. Only authorized individuals have access to the information, and disclosure is only possible with the whistleblower’s explicit consent or if it is absolutely necessary. Reports may also be submitted anonymously, at the whistleblower’s discretion.

What happens next?

Every report is carefully analysed by designated personnel.

If the reported violation is confirmed, we will enforce necessary consequences and take appropriate corrective actions. We may follow up with the whistleblower if additional information is needed. This communication can be conducted through the whistleblowing platform while maintaining full anonymity.

When is a report considered unlawful?

The information provided must be truthful, or at the very least, the whistleblower must have reasonable grounds to believe it is. Submitting false reports or using the whistleblowing system to defame others, violate personal rights, breach copyright laws, infringe data protection regulations, or disclose confidential information – including protected trade secrets – may constitute an unlawful act and carry legal consequences, including criminal liability. Individuals who submit false reports are not entitled to whistleblower protection under the law or our internal procedures.

What should not be reported?

  • Routine feedback from supervisors, as long as it is proportionate and does not violate labour laws;
  • Workplace instructions or decisions that do not breach laws, internal regulations, or ethical standards, regardless of personal opinions about them;
  • One-off instances of inappropriate behaviour by colleagues, provided they are not directed at a specific individual or group, do not cause financial loss, do not violate the law (including labour law and human rights) nor pose a risk of such violations – particularly when they stem from a momentary emotional reaction;
  • Purely private matters that are unrelated to employment, service provision, or other professional relationships with Gobarto, its subsidiaries, or suppliers.
